    It has an alt. The only thing I could find on it was that its made in japan. Its a Hitachi with a 2 wire plug and a stud coming out the back. I know that the stud was used put do not know what to do with the wires in the plug. I beleive the tractor is a 57. I had a guy start working on it...

    8N Ford carb problem?

    I"m working on my friends 8n. He called and said he had to run the choke to get it to run last time he was on it. As of now it turns over good and lots of spark, but is not hitting. Has good fuel supply. I"m thinking its time to rebuild the carb but thought I would see If I was right or not...

    diesel tractor not running right....black smoke

    What I would do is change filters first. Then try the injectors. run the tractor 1200 rpm or so then start taking lines loose at the injectors. the motor should change tune unless ur on that bad injector.

    I have a 350 farmall that has an alternator. I got the diagram for the harness with a governor but not to clear how the alternator was wired in had mice troble and no wires to trace. thanks for any help
