    5000 Ford Holley carburetor

    Am redoing a carb for a 5000 Ford. It has a Holley carb on it, number C5NN-9510-R, another number beneath that which is R3658-A. I require a throttle shaft for same. Dealer advises that the shaft is no longer available. Anyone out there know where I can obtain one? Thanks in advance, L.R. Evans.

    O/T Welding Helmet

    Just a small suggestion to those like myself using bifocals. Go to your eyeglass supplier and have them move the bifocal portion up to the middle of the lens. You will have to have a separate set of eyeglasses for this. Works wonders. Saves getting a sore neck. Cheers, Larry.

    Diesel fuel into the oil engine

    Joe, your transfer pump seals may also be leaking. Normally, there is a drain that prevents this but if the mud daubers (hornets) have plugged the drain line, the fuel will go into the diesel crankcase.
