5000 Ford Holley carburetor

Am redoing a carb for a 5000 Ford. It has a Holley carb on it, number C5NN-9510-R, another number beneath that which is R3658-A. I require a throttle shaft for same. Dealer advises that the shaft is no longer available. Anyone out there know where I can obtain one? Thanks in advance, L.R. Evans.

Should be lots of those carburetors around, most people replace them with a Zenith.

Try to find a Ford (built by Claas) 620 or 622 combine in a boneyard. They used the same engine as a 5000, usually have much lower hours than a tractor engine. A few were diesel, but most were gas. A local dealer took the engine off a 620 last spring to put in a customer's 5000, but he just used the block. The carb and other parts MAY still be there, if they weren't scrapped with the rest of the machine. (715) 532-6854 or 532-7700 (Kuc Implement - ask for Zenny)
