    I have got a 5140 Case that I have had for years-----lately the clutch will not engage the gears-----and just recently the pto will not engage------- in checking service manuel and all other post on yt tractors they are saying that could be a seloind problem-------has anyone solved this...

    Go to good hardware store and get the spring clips with hex heads----before you put it on-- put the clips on to cut the treads----i have four of the HD Industrials---just be careful and make sure you don't break the studs off

    Any good hyd. shop should be able to send you to some seal place in El Paso----If not-- you can get them from H and D Industries in Dallas----What wrong with packing nut that a machine shop can't fix

    I like the 861 D===iF You are going to do mowing it doesn't get any better---with good glow plugs and strong battery sould not be a problem for winter start----great motors---just need to be maintaned properly----good luck
