    PS: I do maintain the oil in the injector pump. It's regularly drained of the diesel it fills with and replenished with oil.

    Hi Everyone I replaced the fuel filters and put a new lifter on my Ford 5000. To get going again I bled the fuel filters and on the injector pump. I didn't crack open any of the injector lines. It started aok and was running fine yesterday. I went up and down a few hills across and she ran a...

    The bracket is not a Ford one so I have put them on this way. This is until I sort a fabricator to cut away some of it so the proper side weights with the bolts can be fitted. Hence I also added the little chain things just in case the weights flip up......Plus I was having a bit of fun too...

    Hello tractor people I have a '69 Ford 5000 and have found a weight bracket to go on front. However, I am uncertain on the bolt size required for the 4 threaded bolt holes on the front end. I think they are 5/8"-11, can someone confirm please. Thanks in advance Lachlan

    More info: I found a post on another site (getting better with terminology) that said if you ground the sender wire and the light glows then it is either the sender or the connection. Not sure what they mean by connection? I also performed the Ohm test, my meter reads 1 (one) with the engine...
