    Cub 3rd gear

I have not had much use for 3rd gear in a Cub. If I ever rebuild another Cub transmission, I would like to try replacing 3rd gear with something more practical. You can get new gear sets with different ratios from a Cub Cadet puller outfit. Maybe change out the 16/26 slider for a 16/18 and...

Farmall Cub Sickle mower Pittman Arm

It is complete sort of. You need a new spring. Yours is about half the length it should be. --Lee

    c 22 famall cub mower

I assume you are talking about the drag bar. 33.75-inches (outside to outside) is what I have. This assumes a standard cub setup with a long drop support. Short drop bar supports came with pre-1951 Cub-22 mowers from what I can tell.

    cub grinds in gear

Your pilot pushing is dry causing the transmission shaft to still spin with the clutch engaged. Some people have had luck trying to spray lube on it. Otherwise, the tractor has to be split.

    Cub Lo Boy Clutch Mechanism

The LH brake shaft goes through the clutch shaft. I have never had good luck driving out a rusted shaft and sleeve set up like that. Twisting usually works better. Sadly, there is no easy way to apply heat that I know of. I would use patients and lots of penetrating oil.

    IH Rear Blade

Type in "backfill blade" in "search for model" on the Case site. If I am not mistaken, the blade was made by Heath for IH. Google "heath ditch blade" and follow the first link. --Lee

There are plenty of people parting and selling cubs. Where are you located? Are you looking to match the year?

Firestone Traction Field and Road Tires

Firestone does not make F&R in 9.5 x 24 anymore, but do in a few other sizes like 8.3 x 24.

Deere B and Super Six loader

I stored this photo from an ad. Not sure if it is connected at the axle in the picture or sitting on a bucket or something. I have more pictures if you need them. None show the rear connection any better than this one however.

    Late B Brake Bushing Inspection

"just replaced some that were so bad the pinion gear was riding up on the bull gear". That is in fact what I am worried about. I am getting a lot of feedback in the pedal when using the brake to execute a sharp turn.

    Late B Brake Bushing Inspection

I would like to inspect the two brake shaft bushings for wear. Seems obvious, but I assume I need to pull the whole assembly. In other words, I assume there is no easier way to check for play in the brake shaft. --Lee

John Deere B right brake grinding

Curious, does it make a knocking noise when it does that?
