Fuel pump bleeder
Changed the fuel filters on my 4610 the other day and could not get the bleeder bolt to quit seeping. Think I over tightened it and must have stripped the threads in the housing because the threads on the bolt look ok. Now it won't tighten at all and is just pouring furl. Is there any fix short... -

Difference between 5610's
Even trade, which really ain't no great deal on my end, but I need an open tractor for the chicken houses. Will be moving up several years and 1/3 the hours. I really like my 5610, but can't justify buying another tractor when I can swap. -

I have a '88 5610II with cab and air, nice tractor with 3500 hours, good condition. I also have chicken houses and need a tractor that will fit in them, i.e. no cab. I've found a New Holland 5610S with 1158 hours, '95 model, new back tires, good condition. Are the later New Holland models as... -

How much trouble is it to get the steering motor off of a 5610 series II with a cab? -

Run, don"t walk away. I know 3 people who have them and I"ve used my cousin"s to cut hay. Complete and total piece of crap. They only look like a Ford, they"re not even close.- leebbb

O/T cap and ball pistol questins
I've been shooting capnballs for 25 years and have never used grease or wads and have never had a problem. If you get a thin layer of lead shaved off when you press the ball home there is no way for fire to reach another charge from the front. Think of it this way, a thin layer of grease is not...- leebbb

Ford 5610 forward/ reverse shifting problemt
This may not help a bit, but I was having trouble shifting both range and gear lever on my 5610 with cab, to the point of having to use both hands on the gear shift. Range lever would grind and sometimes tractor would jump a little when changing ranges. I adjusted the clutch and it didn't change... -

Ok,how about this poll,Worst tractor you've owned ever
1586 ih, bought it used, engine quit three weeks later. Rebuilt engine, ran it 3 years and entire rear end, hydraulics, clutch, ta, and brakes had to be replaced. A/c never would cool. Paid $9000.00 for it, spent twice that much on it and was tickled to get rid of it for $7000.00, all in 6 years...- leebbb
