Thanks again for all the help everyone. I have a part on the way from Cooks. Hopefully this solves it. I did also want to note the lady at Alexander Ford was very helpful. While she didn't have a used fork, she indicated that the leveling box from the later 3 cylinder 4000s would also work... -

I hadn't noticed how this pushes the hanger forward, but explains why implements were both hard to level but also angled. -

Looks like you all diagnosed this one correctly. The stamped part number on that fork is c5nn-585, which is from the 65-74 series, 15" long and for the utility tractors. Now to track down the part number for the 18" fork. -

Hi all, I'm trying to sort out the the 3 pt setup on my 960. In order to get the 3 pt level I have to run the right side leveling box in the first hole on the right lift arm and the left non adjustable leveling arm in the 2nd hole of the lift arm. Max length on the adjustable side she can't... -
