    They called last night, well after working hours here. They are having problems sourcing the part but think they will have it out this week. I wasn't really complaining, I understand finding parts for old stuff, they probably relist a catalog and their supplier is slow or doesn't really have it.

    What are the symptoms of bad steering motor?

    I don't think I have any other valve. I've seen pics steering cylinders that have a block on top, but mine is just simple hoses. It's a 1979 model, that makes it 40, I guess it earned some new parts :-) I need to get it apart to see if I have a spline or pin unit.
