    John Deere 2020 backfires

    I would switch over to electronic ignition if it were me.. carb may need a cleaning/rebuild, where I buy my gas they have 90 octane straight gas, i use it in all my gas powered engines, especially the tractors.

    On both of my tractors the rock shaft leaks on the Touch-O-Matic, I was told that the leaks could be stop by using O-rings of the appropriate size. Anyone out there tried this? On the 40 T I replaced the seals when I had the lift apart but one side still leaks. Haven’t touched the 430 T lift...

    I've got a John Deere 430T with a 4 speed transmission noise only in 3rd gear. The other gears are quite. Any thoughts as to what it is and what I need to do to repair. Thanks in advance.

    I have converted my Uncles model M from 6v gen. positive gn. to 6v alternator positive gn. The tractor will start and run but not charging. Does anybody out there have any experience with this type of conversion? Thanking in advance
