    in the factory the ring gear is made in one place, the pinion shaft in another. so how are they coming up with a matched set?like the mechanics tell me; you have to replace both.can I just replace the shaft? thanks.

    the inside of the brakecover is grooved and lopsided,specs don,t give any height on plate, only the distance from cover to housing assembly. any ideas?

    Primeing with alkalide primer.Can I wait till all the parts are ready to paint or paint now?It might be a couple months before I'm ready.

    Used oven cleaner to stripe grease.Then to carwash.Wire wheeled then sanded with orbital.used laquer thinner to wipe down.I used a alkalide enamel to prime(Van Sickle) Budget is tight.Going to use same name paint with harder,clear cote is available.Is this the right way?
