    Oliver 1850 diesel Perkins

    I am replacing valve cover gasket on my 1965 1850 perkins diesel. It has a tin or stamped valve cover. I thought they had cast iron valve covers. A friend said it has a combine valve cover. I am wondering what type of gasket I need. It has a coke gasket now.

    I am pretty sure a j.d. 4620 did not have a standard model, but could it be ordered from the factory with over the tire fenders like a 4020 or 5020 standard? Tia Larry.

    Are all 1948 Oliver 88's "old style" or are the later 1948 88's fleet line? I now have an old style 88, thought maybe I could find an earliest fleet line to park beside to show and compare.

    Does a 1800 B have a steering rod like a A series or is it hydro steering like a C series?

    Mounted plow model number

    What is the model number of the red mounted plow builted the earley sixties with the rectulanglur back bone that the beams bolted to the underside, not with through bolts. I would like to buy a five bottom one here in the central us states. Thanks Larry

    non camander serial numbers

    Yes lots of red paint,but none in the little area where to serial number is because I used sandpaper to take off the blue there. the engine does not have red paint on it but the bolt on parts do including the engine pan. it has double keyed axels and an air stack.

    could someone decipher my serial number on my 6000. the top line is 6R1065 and the bottom line is 58250. there is a diamond before and after the 58250. thanks Larry

    can someone tell me what serial numbers of the 6000 were painted red and repainted blue at factory? did they change or ad anything to serial to show it had been factory rebuilt?
