ford 6000

can someone tell me what serial numbers of the 6000 were painted red and repainted blue at factory? did they change or ad anything to serial to show it had been factory rebuilt?

my 1961 ford 6000 was red then painted blue the serial # is 138408 I have now sold this tractor. it had single keys in axels for a picture go to tractor photos and type in ford 940

On the top set of numbers there is a R stamped in to stand for rebuildThey ground out the original and stamped a new serial number.Mine was a early one that had a 1964 serial number.It also had a sticker on the lower dash stating it was a remanufacture.
