    Had the same problem with my 135. Was in a hurry so I used a few flat washers as a fix. I suppose I will get around to buying shorter bolts someday.

    MF 135 oil change

    Just finished restoring my 135 with a Perkins gas engine. Did not need an engine overhaul. It has about 2800 hrs on it. How many hours should I go between oil changes?

    Gift

    I don't usually like to borrow things but my friends father offered to loan me his equipment hauler to move my Massey 135 up to my hunting property. UHaul wants 50 bucks per day for theirs and I would need it for 3-4 days. I would like to get him a gift for loaning me his trailer. Any suggestions?

    Glen I was about to post the same question. I have been staring at my new piston with rubber O ring and plastic piston ring and can't figure it out. I hope someone can give us an answer. It thought maybe it needs to be heated up maybe in boiling water?

    Took the valve cover vent tube off and sure enough it was completely blocked. Decided to replace it with rubber hose and drop it slightly below the engine.     It has the same filler cap as yours and it does not have moisture on it. I will be looking at the valve cover vent tomorrow. I guess I didn't think that would increase the oil pressure. I hope you are correct. Thanks

What worries me though is that oil drips out the dip stick tube after it warms up and at shutdown when I pull the dipstick there is a release of air pressure.     Don't need to remove the gas tank. Just take off the heat shield surrounding the manifold and you can get at the plugs. Larry
