MF 135 oil change

Just finished restoring my 135 with a Perkins gas engine. Did not need an engine overhaul. It has about 2800 hrs on it. How many hours should I go between oil changes?

We ussually go 100 hours. If it's used for short periods or whatever, do it more often. Atleast once a year.

at 100 hrs is normally recommended. But, if you run it often for short periods of time, say 1-3 hours, you may want to change it at around 80 hours. If it gets balck sooner you may want to change earlier. It's also a good idea to change it before you store for a long time (e.g., winter). I'm a fan of using Shell Rotella 15-40 and getting the spin-on conversion for the filter.
