    I bought a 240 off craiglist and it has been too hot to mess with. So I bought a new 6 volt battery--(for sale now)--and it would not turn over quick enough--so I bought a 12 volt--and put it in-- it runs like a sewing machine---The 3rd gear grinds--But it scared me---but I love it now. I hope...

    One thing I just noticed on this tractor for the electrical part--the generator and the voltage regulator look brand new---both are painted back & no rust showing--i plan on taking the generator off Monday to see if it is a 12 volt at a repair shop. What can I look for if it has been converted...
