    Sorry takes me awhile 2 respond , pesky day job.....Hope 2 test fire it soon all new guts in that fugly block with new sleeves pistons and 10-10 bearings. Maybe will give new meaning to "Oil bath" when we spin it! P.s we aint no painter :{)

    I know enough history of this tractor that it was a gas engine removed and I just put the "poor-looking" but, "good running" engine in. both blocks were stamped H-260.     580 E injection pump removal

    Sorry should have said CAV rotary pump on a 580 Super E. Its a 4-390 model engine. There is A circular tin cap on the other side of the housing that would allow access to the gear from the front. I am not sure how to remove it..The manual I have is not specific. It is 4-390 model.Thank-you...

    Got everything marked and loosened up.Timing pin pushed in. pump wont come back and out off the studs..Is there something holding it on the drive gear?? Like a retaining nut??? how do you get it off?? Thanks in advance.
