Sounds like the TDC module is what we need to try first. Someone else has also mentioned this to us. Thanks for describing where to find it. Thanks for all the info Lynn- Lynn Voyles

JD 425 No Fire
We have experienced similar problems with our JD425. Have had it worked on several times. It used to get hot, that is fixed, now it will start and after about 5 minutes it starts cutting out bad and runs likes that for about 15 to 20 minutes, then it takes off and runs fine. Have had no luck...- Lynn Voyles

john deere mower won't run
My john deere 435 mower starts fine, but after about 5 minutes it starts cutting out bad. If you keep running it like this, after about 20 minutes, it will take off and run fine for the rest of the 2 hours it takes to mow my yard. Any suggestions?- Lynn Voyles
