    well i finaly figued it out. it was the ignitor. got it to do alot of dieing and found the wire was loosing power to coil so i put points back in it, runs great and doesnt die

    yes there is 12 volts to it and have also put new ignition switch in it. it can be running for hours then it just decided to die but normaly starts right back up but is not consintant. and was working on it last night and it finaly died and didnt wanna start right back up. i had very good spark...

    you will have to out bid the iron buyers witch is some times fun. It's worth about $400 iron price so if it's in good shaoe like it sounds I would spend up to $600 or so. I have a model D and i paid iron price for it and it cost $165 and an E is lots bigger

    4010 GAS

    thanks john. I dont like champions either. I think that is why i have a small miss under a load is it has champions in it and every thing else look like new and its my fist time with a JD gas engine.
