    Restoring now working on lift the piston calls for treated paper washer part b2800r I'm assuming it needs it but am having hard time finding it tried Steiner and others any suggestions I can find u cup part b2799r packing.don't know what paper is for thanks for help

    I have rebuilt engine started with scrap, block was busted had it welded sealed block almost still seeps but not bad also radiator leaks at the bottom.Engine runs great,any recommendations of sealer anyone.Have used bars head gasket repair in a pickup about a year ago and so far no problems.But...

    Where the adjusting clutch disk that the release springs are on, bolt to the belt pulley the belt pulley also has holes that the springs fit over is there suppose to be anything in those holes for the springs to ride on or do they just ride over those holes I cant remember removing anything from...

    No I did not bore the block But I did hone cylinders The engine had .045 pistons in it when I tore it down.The ring groove is barely visible and I mic the block myself showed .045 above 4.5 inch bore I know 110psi pressure is more than it ever had my main question is should the pressure it...

    Yes rings are new and box said .045 I did not measure the rings just assumed they were right And made sure gaps were staggered I have also checked both cylinders with both valves open and closed with air hose no air through intake or exaust with valves closed.So you think my compression leaking...

    I dont know history of tractor was in bad shape when I got it.Have been working on it about a year off and on.I have engine together but cant get it started.Carb rebuilt by a professonal mag is hot new wires blue spark and in time Valves set at .020 by the book pistons are .045 oversize 4 1/2...

    yea thanks I have heard of a man name of franklin jones in alabama who works wonders on carbs only a couple hours from where I am.I may try him I already broke the bowl nut and butterfly try to free it up myself.

    The original shaft is 8-3/8 the extra is 9-1/2 inches.All gears and parts look usable.Thanks for input.Might even be able to have org. shaft built up and repaired if needed.There is a will just looking for a way.
