    Thank you! The old tractor has really straight tin, but one bad rear and a stuck engine as well. I am wondering how much effort I want to put into her..... The brake sounds do-able, so we'll work on it and see where we end up! Thanks!

    Does anyone have the part number for the hydraulic pump seal and gasket for a VAC? I am told the seal is readily available from NAPA, but I don't have parts book to get the number.... THANK YOU!

    235 with cracked block

    Thanks, repair is an option, but if I'm going to go that far, then I would go ahead and overhaul it as well. The old tractor really isn't worth that much work (or money). No sentimental value, I have seen them for around $2-$3K, that is why I thought I might get a transplant for her.

    My 235 has cracks between each cylinder in the block. I don't think it is worth repairing the block. So my question is what all engines will fit in her and if I am replacing how big can I go? Thanks!

    MM 670 Super oil

    I use Hy-Tran in the hydraulics and high quality gear lube in the rear end and transmission (Schaeffer). For heavy work I prefer the heavy oil..... if she is just for show then I am not sure it makes much difference....

    Prices are all over right now. I would suspect it to range between $850-$2500. When I am buying them they are worth just over scrap.... when I am selling they are pure Prairie Gold! Ha!

    Gene drove her one the trailer, and I drove her off. Plan to use her for cultivating.... will HAVE to get a muffler though. Thanks for all you help!
