    D312 into a 460

    Wanting to stick with the 312 in a 460. Would rather keep things light without the use of a bunch of aluminum. Thought the idea would be neat even for a farm tractor.

    Pulling on asphalt

    Depends on how the sled is setup and what kind of track it is.. We run a sled on hard surface here in sw wisconsin. We use wood skids only but have rubber pads for the heavier tractors. From what I've seen the cement and old style blacktop hooks the best for the tractors.
