    Blissfield, MI pull 8-21-10

Was rained out today but still had quite a few tractors show up in hopes they might pull. Looks like a good group of guys and gals. I think they have another pull scheduled in a couple weeks.

No cylindar with it, it does not operate electrically it has a +/- 12 inch handle in the shape of an L on the right side, where the "outlets" are on the right side there are outlets on the left side there is what looks to me like "pipe plugs," I am unsure how to tell if its a group 1 or group...

    Oliver 77 Row Crop

I just did it again, another tractor showed up at the house. Took my wife 2 days to notice, I should have left it out back instead of in her parking spot. I have the serial number as 332028 C77-D so the tractor is a 1950 with standard transmission "C-77" What does the "D" indicate. Also it...

What year is my 77 Row Crop?

According to the "Oliver Tractor Data Book" it is a 1951. The tractors built in 1951 and later have red letters in the "77" and 1950 and earlier have yellow. I cannot help with how far the yellow lines go. Send pictures, a lot of us like those 77s. I have a standard 77 (1950) and have just...

    1850 wiring harness available anywhere??

We did ours ourselves, it takes, if I remember correctly 8 different colors for the diesel. Napa had all the colors, took about 8 hours for us to rewire the whole dash and tractor. Everything works so I think we did it right.

    1850 Diesel Tachometer

The 1850 Tach died, upon further investigation it was determined to be the key between the aux drive shaft and the tachometer adapter was incorrect (someone had used an old broken drill bit, new part #158762A) I have procured parts and have a question about changing the "pin and peg" (159221A...

I am in Blissfield MI., from my understanding the pump is in time but the engine is not, I took the injection pump access panel off and it is showing as timed(everything is lining up) I guess now I need to find the timing marks on the flywheel and see if I can get TDC, Starter is out of her...

    1850 diesel (perkins) timing

Had the front of the injector pump off to try and fix the tach. Not knowing much about these, we may have inadvertantly moved the timing out with the gear out of place. Now the tractor will not start. So I guess I need to readjust the timing but not in the typical way. Any help on getting...

    660 cockshutt

I believe they did build a 660 and I think if you do some research you will find it is identical to an Oliver 660, they were painted red and cream (prairie gold). It is supposed to be pretty rare.
