    Should be able to do that. Start in the middle with a tape measure and marker pen. 1st row would be 15" from center, then 30" after that.

    A friend of mine had a Dodge 3/4 ton with the V10. He would start it when cold to let the engine warm up, seems the oil pump would starve the rear main when cold. After the 2nd engine he traded it.

    Brakes on '50 AR?

    The 49 only have a service brake. If you wanted brakes on both wheels you'd need to order a Orchard package as they had turning brakes like the later one.

    Try adjusting the sector gear 1st before replacing it. There are youtube videos showing how to do that. Very easy.

    Shop lighting

    Amazon has High Bay Led shop lights. They are round and plug in a normal outlet. My brother put 4 in a 32x40 shop and has plenty of light.

    Looks like a Johnson aftermarket water pump. I wouldn't mess with it. Perhaps advertise it for someone to hang on their wall.

    Not sure on the time frame, but you could buy an adapter to make it a 3-point hitch from Tractor Supply in the late 50's.

    A screwdriver and short the spark plug and it will die.

    There are 3 carriage bolts that hold the spindle assy. to the deck. You may need to cut or torch them off to get the spindle assy loose.
