    After a long restoration, my A is ready to start (other than adding fluids). What is recommended (the motor had a complete overhaul) to do this successfully ? What problems can I expect (carb,magneto, etc)??

    My Farmall A appears to be in gear although the shifter is in neutral. Bumped the starter button and it jumped backwards. The restoration is complete. I was trying to add air to the right rear tire and wanted to roll it forward for easier access. I did take the shift lever and cover off to...

    Drawbar trouble, 1947 Farmall A

    The front bolts holding the drawbar to the chassis are threaded, correct ?? Mine appear to be stripped if so. What size are they supposed to be ?? The rear bolts attach with nuts and those are in place. Thank you guys as always !!!!!
