JD 450C Oil Leak from ?

Went to start up my 450C for the first time this Spring and it's developed an oil leak. The oil is coming out of the fitting to the right of the red arrow. I looked through the tech manual and haven't been able to definitely identify what that fitting is? (Oil pressure gauge tap?) Also, the...

    JD 450C Drott Bucket

Hydraulics are certainly not my strong point... I'm still trying to figure out the differences between "relief", "cross0ver", "dual crossover" and "cushion" valves.

    JD 450C Drott Bucket

Finally found a Drott bucket that will fit my 450C. I'm told the crossover/relief valve that would normally be installed in the auxilliary hydraulic circuit which runs the clamshell is no longer available. As I understand it, the system relief will function while the clamshell is opening or...

    JD 450C Auxiliary Hydraulics?

Finally found a 4-in-1 bucket for my 450C trackloader so I'm having some hydraulic work done to hook it up. Was trying to think if it makes sense to have anything else done at the same time and was wondering if it's possible/practical to install some auxiliary hydraulic lines that could be used...

    JD 450C Fuel Injector

One more picture. Keep in mind, since the picture is a mirror image, you're looking at the bottom of the fuel pump. The leak appears to be right where the larger "bolt" meets with the housing. Sounds like I'm better off trying to get a seal kit and maybe the clip (bone yard for that?) rather...

    JD 450C Fuel Injector

Given that and the zip-ties cobbled together to hold in what I presume is a plug of some sort, worthwhile getting the fuel pump rebuilt? Thanks again and sorry about the misdirection.

    JD 450C Fuel Injector

    Here's where it's leaking.

    JD 450C Fuel Injector

I obviously didn't comprehend what I was looking at... I've now pulled the cover and "sniff-tested" the leak. It's clearly diesel fuel and the leak is clearly coming from the pump itself.

    JD 450C Fuel Injector

Maybe I misinterpreted what I was seeing? The only way to see the leak was to use an inspection mirror and look on the back side of the fuel injector pump. The machine was just returned after having a bunch of work done on it. Both the driver and mechanic said the leak was diesel fuel...

    JD 450C Fuel Injector

The leak is at the fuel injection pump... not the nozzles. Sorry I wasn't clear about that.
