Yes i jumped the gun and just ordered parts. I finally startd testing different circuits. Turned out to be the "ice cube" relay switch in the wire loom. No I do not have a wiring diagram. I ran a jumper wire from one side of the relay to the other and tractor started. Is that just a... -

Tractor not starting
Well replaced the ignition switch and still nothing. Guess I'll pull all the wires out of the wrap and tape an see if I can find a break or bare wire. -

Thks for the responses. I agree, wasted money on starter. Never even thought about ign. switch. I have ordered a new switch so I will be trying that when it gets here. I did check the wiring to the solenoid and the connection, they looked fine. Thanks again for the advice. I will keep you posted. -

Tractor not starting
1992 Ford 3930 I had it running, shut it off and when I got back on it, turn the key and nothing. So made sure it was in neutral tried again nothing. I then jumped the solenoid (relay) and it fired up. Bought a new starter, since I couldn't just by solenoid, put new starter on and same problem... -

Which carb for a Ford 800
I've taken the carb off at least 3 times checked float, needle, jets. When I put it back on it will idle fine, soon as I put any kind of load on it it will start to break up and not want to run too good. Acts like it runs out of fuel. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes it starts back up but still... -

I have a "55" Ford 800 with a 172 engine in it. I want to replace the carb, it's a Marvel but I can't find any numbers on it. Are they basically the same for that engine? Can I buy one of the reman's off this site? -

Replacing PTO seal
Is there any tricks to replacing the PTO seal on a 1992 Ford 3930? Unbolt PTO slide out shaft, R&R seal, then slide PTO shaft back in? -

I have a Ford 3930, I replaced the alternator but it still isn't charging the battery. Someone mentioned a sensor under the battery that may prevent it from charging and suggested putting a resistor on it. What size resistor and where does it go? Do I cut the (2) wires off sensor and wire...
