John Deere 450c sprocket rubbing on roller

I just scanned through the whole service manual and couldnt find the procedure. Just the clarify, it is almost as though as the roller is too large in diameter, where the tips of the sprocket teeth make contact with the first roller. See attached image. Thanks!

John Deere 450c sprocket rubbing on roller

Hey guys. I recently rebuilt the undercarriage on the left hand side of my John Deere 450 c. New sprocket, rollers and chain. I was quite excited this afternoon when I wheeled it out the shop. Not for long though. It rode extremely rough. After looking it over, I can see that the sprocket is...

    G188d rebuild lacks power

Thanks for the feedback. That absolutely makes sense. I ran the machine for a good 4 hours prior to this failure, strange that it took so long.

    G188d rebuild lacks power

So I figured before I go to carried away I would double check my fuel timing. Was I in for a surprise. When I pulled the valve cover I came across it this. What would cause this ?

    G188d rebuild lacks power

Couple more pieces of information. Heavy white smoke at idle. Reving the engine in neutral it sounds fine. As soon as I put it under load it sounds week. All signs are pointing towards injection pump. I just dont understand how the machine going on a heavy angle would affect the old Roosa...

    G188d rebuild lacks power

So after a bunch of trial and error, I brought the injectors into the local shop, had them tested and one was bad. Replaced it and the machine finally fired up properly. It ran great and had lots of power. I put the backhoe attachment on which causes it to ride on a slight catwalk. I ended up...

    Case 350 radiator leak

A new radiator is the same cost as a mortgage payment for the month! Its pretty crazy. The radiator leaks at the same spot where the tech fixed it twice now. Cap on or cap off. I got a quote for core replacement at 1200cad. We radiator after shipping and import fees will be 2000cad. This is...

    Case 350 radiator leak

Hey guys, the adventure with the old dozer continues. I had a leak in the rad, brought it to the local radiator repair shop. They did their Thing and charged me a pretty penny. I put the rad back in and it leaked again within a matter of minutes. Brought it back to the shop and buddy tries...

    case 350 b?

Hey guys, another project I'm getting organized for is rebuilding the hydraulic cylinders on my case 350. The best place I've found is https://hwpartstore.com. However they do not have a category for Case 350, just one for 350b. Does anyone know whether these seal kits are interchangeable...

    G188d rebuild lacks power

Hey guys. Spent the winter rebuilding the g188d out of my case 350. New crank, connecting rods, sleeves and cylinders. The injection pump was also rebuilt by a shop. Threw new injectors in as well. Took it for a test drive around the property today. It really lacks power. Very noticeable going...

    G188d crank shaft

Hey guys, I’m currently rebuilding a case 350 g188d. The engine had a spun rod bearing with Nfg’d the crankshaft. I’m having a really difficult time sourcing one. Does anyone have any leads or perhaps have one laying on the shelf your looking to get rid of? Located in Canada. Thanks!

Case 350 g188d connecting rod casting number

Also another question - if I change all 4 rods, the casting number would irrelevant? I’ve been reading that there’s three different styles of rods? So does the style you get have any dependence on the cast number of your crank? Or as long as all 4 are the same your good to go?? Thanks
