    Perkins 4.203 fuel injector question

Anythings possible. I only recently bought the machine and it might have had an engine swap sometime in the last 50 years. I just want to find somewhere that shows a 4.203UA takes a specific injector, but everything references the tractor and not the engine.

    Perkins 4.203 fuel injector question

Hi everyone, I have a Massey 50C (Industrial Backhoe) with a Perkins 4.203UA engine Serial Number 132330DL. I'm rebuilding the top end and need to rebuild or replace my injectors. The problem is that I can't figure out which injectors I need. I keep finding conflicting information from...

IH 91 combine engine (c-135) in an IH 504 (c-153)

I've rebuilt many tractors over the years and I've learned that some are just not worth it and I think this is one of them. However a free engine and some time might be worth it.... At least its beet than 500-700$ to have a head rebuilt with new valve guides pressed in which is what I think its...

IH 91 combine engine (c-135) in an IH 504 (c-153)

So if I took the 504 mounting plate and drilled it to fit the 91 combine bell housing that would still not work right?

IH 91 combine engine (c-135) in an IH 504 (c-153)

I can understand that, but the 135 was what was used in the 504's predecessor the 340 and 404. So I figure it should work.

IH 91 combine engine (c-135) in an IH 504 (c-153)

My IH 504 engine is dying and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I have access to an IH 91 c135 engine for free and I am thinking of just putting that in it because the 504 doesn't need any more power to do the jobs I use it for like raking hay etc. I have been reading posts on here about using...

    Farmall 460/560

I will try to do the ignition first then maybe play around with venturies and jetting later if the electronic ignition doesn't wake her up. Good stuff to know Pete23. Thank you!

    Farmall 460/560

It used to have a working heat exchanger and it used to have the same problem. One winter the exhaust manifold blew out in that section so I separated the intake and the exhaust manifolds completely. So now they do not connect at all. I was told that's how the LP tractors are and some pullers...

    Farmall 460/560

Thanks for the advice. I've got a good hot coil already but I also have issues with the points burning up especially if I leave the key on by accident for a free minutes or something.

    Farmall 460/560

Hi everyone, I have a farmall 460 with a 263 (560) engine in it with fire crater pistons. Its totally rebuilt and runs well except a little skip which I think could be solved with electronic ignition because the distributor is a bit worn and I think the points open with a different gap each...

    IH 91 Combine fuel pump

Hi everyone, I'm still running an IH 91 combine to harvest rye. Its been a great machine for the 15 acres or so that we keep each year for reseeding cover crops. Last year the fuel pump went bad and I hooked up and electric unit to fix it but Id rather put an original mechanical pump back on...

    Ford 503 hay rake

So the new idea rake is a 400 model. Any input on that one? It looks to be in good shape.

    Ford 503 hay rake

Well that's not good news lol. I figure it's worth 50 in scrap, so I lost 200. I think the new idea take was with it though. I bundled the two for the 500. He wanted 300 for the new idea. So if it doesn't work I'll loose 150. Have you ever tried to run it without the hay stripper? Or...
