    Replacing steering shaft bushing

Don't be surprised if you have to take all the paint off from the steering wheel to the support to get the installed bushing back on. See how the bushing fits before you install it if you can.

    “G” flipper guard ?

Just put it on the pin like it is now, but to the left side. Hook end goes on arm of the flipper. Doubt it needs to be wound, but it might.

How to Remove this Seal from Cylinder?

A drill and a screw then pull it out. But if it is leaking there is an oring/packing deeper which you need to totally disassemble. Waste of time to replace just that seal. The ram is in poor shape.

Could you post a pic of yours on here? There are some odd gears in my shop that may be what you need. How thick of material? Size of shaft?

Guessing this is the right forum....question on a C-IH 895 PTO shaft leaking.

Years ago, I had to replace the pto shaft since it was snapped off, either too long of shaft on batwing mover or turned to short, but had to remove 3pt housing to get at a snap ring to replace...

6610 oil leak from clutch rod hole

I replaced the boot on the rear axles with just my hands, had to do 2 tractors. Also resealed the brake through shaft while there. Havn't worked on these tractors a lot just recently. So will help with what I can. That rubber 4x5 plug is available, the one tractor was missing it.

Sorry, but can still use the hammer and work your way around the housing, the ears at the 2 and 8 position are going to be your helpers on getting this to move, just don't get carried away. LOL

A 2 lb hammer and punch and give the bolt the best you have. Helps loosen the bolt, I started doing this on manifold bolts, then when a bolt doesn't move, out comes the big hammer and punch.
