    The 68 4020's had a push button for starting. The key switch is just on and off, not for cranking. Engine should shut off with the throttle.

    Get an A&I shaft, Deere owns the company and bet they don't make two different ones. Our JD dealer keeps the A&I one on the shelf.

    What is your hydraulic pressure set at? And did you adjust the pto valve once you had it running. Thinking you have a valve problem and it is leaking pressure to clutch.     1968 4020 bilingual tachometer

    Doubt it, it was discussed here before, I remember helping Dad replace our tach on our 1968 4020 in the 1980's and the replacement was bilingual. The original was not and had the white, green, and red area like the replacements do now.

    Still no spark Ferguson TEA20

    Try a different condenser. A new customer of mine fought with a no start jubilee ford for a while, had multiple people look at it. I finally made it to him and found it had no spark, asked for another condenser, put it on and it ran.
