If you have a truck driveline shop nearby try them. Small driveshafts off of transmission to drive hyd units for hoist and such. We have Inland truck parts.- matthies

Selling consecutive serial number JD tractors?
Local couple here started dating and got married. Their dad's both had JD 630's, they checked numbers and were consecutive numbers. Lived 15 miles apart both tractors could have been bought originally from the same dealer but don't know that info.- matthies

John Deere 4020 steering arm repair
Not proud of this, but guessing you can't tighten the arm enough to tighten the splines? I have taken a grinder and have ground down the spindle housing to allow the arm to slide down onto the splines farther. But you have to have the tierod shaft off of the arm to check for tightness. Advice on buying a John Deere 2020???
The duals usually mean that the tractor was used for fieldwork and had the snot pulled out of it. And with this being a small tractor you typically don't see duals on one. Unless like mentioned that the tractor was used for mowing and the duals are for stability.- matthies

All the balls I seen are steel, brass plugs yes. I have been lucky enough to soak the bad carbs in vinegar to clean the passages, never failed me yet. Don't soak it overnight, just keep an eye on it for a few hours and when you see a lot of bubbles pull out rinse in a hot water/baking soda mix...- matthies

John Deere H axle seal
Put a little permatex or silicone on the outer part of the seal. It helps with installation and seal any imperfections in the housing. Buddy told me this 30 years ago, then watched his coworker fight a seal for a while. Buddy told him what I just told you and he laughed but did it and the seal...- matthies

I just have a section of clear hose I put on for the winter and fill with antifreeze. -

Coppercoat spray used on the head gasket and yes on the block/case as the gaskets aren't what they used to be.- matthies

3020 / 4020 Engine Oil Cooler
When installing that line or the lines on the thermostat housing, I do use black silicone to help on the install. But I am betting that the original is baked/hardened in place and you are going to have to get mean with it and dig it out. The two grooves you are seeing are maybe the sides of the...- matthies
