    I really appreciate the input from everyone! I put it on CL and Facebook and found a collector who was looking for a 544 to restore and he really, really wanted it. I was able to get 6,000 for it which it almost twice what I thought it was worth

    Sorry I should have Been more clear. I want to brush hog the tops of the grades and I feel a bit spooky diving that big tall tractor so close to such steep sides. Could t pay me to try and drive anything on those slopes.

    Really? Thats good to know. Where are you located. Part of my worry is that Im am about as far north as you can be in Michigan and the population is a little thin. I considered hauling it downstate to get a better price. If this is the case then I may have to do that.
