    I agree when there gone there gone. Thats why I start with junk when i build a puller, But a little extra fuel and a couple of hundred rpm for a few hundred feet shouldent hurt much. Is the massey for sale?

    605 diesel engine

    My 15 year old son just bought a GB diesel and he has a vision. I have a HD605 and he would like to bolt his diesel heads on and convert it to a diesel. I know some head bolt holes have to be drilled, and my 605 has the webbed jugs. has anyone ever tryed this swap? Thanks.

    new to magnetos

    for what its worth, I put a delco distributor off ot an H or M farmall on my 80 std. If you have electric start why not have battery ignition?

    I know clint stam has a vista for parts. I got one of the emblems off of it. The only outher two I know of ar both propaine tractors that cant be bought.

    GTBD power upgrade

    Is it possable to put the power cell heads on a 605 or better yet an early 800? I know you have to drill some holes but has anyone done it? Im thinking about it also.

    425 diesel heads

    as i recall the valves are swaped around in the 585 heads, thus the int, and ext,lobes on the cam are backwords also. But Im not 100% on that eather.

    UTU or UB puller

    Its not my tractor and I have never pulled it. It pulles 5500 threw 7500, third gear alot of the time, sometimes second. No I have never seen it fall on its face, Ive seen it work hard but never power out.

    Anyone out there have the engine out of a 2-150 white for parts? Im thinking of building a direct injected 605 inch diesel for an antique puller. Im interested in the heads and the injection set up. Has anyone on hear done this? Thanks

    I Really Need a Guru

    I dont think the tappet gap being .010 to .015 too wide is going to make that much diffrence.I was thinking you had a valve or two that were to tight. Have you sprayed eather or carb cleaner around the intake manifold gaske to see if you have a vacum leak? mabie a broken valve spring?
