    Drill press speed?

    How often, or do you ever, change the spindle speed of your drill press? I've only changed mine a couple of times in the 40 some years I've owned it. I leave it on the lowest speed, but I wish it would run slower. I'm thinking of adding an intermediate shaft so I can drop the speed some more.

    I also like the 630's. I used to own 2 but I sold one. I am the second owner of my 630 , It was the main tractor for the original owners until 1963 another tractor arrived on the farm. My 630's last job on the farm was pulling trailers around. Mine now bush hog and grades drive ways.
