    ford '52 8n lift

    my lift is very weak or slow doesn't hold up long after turned off. Can I rebuild it without draining the gear oil? In rebuilding the lift would it be as simple as changing the rings on the lifts piston? How much is a quick fix and what parts do I need to change? Thanks

    8n oil level

    Is the fill cap by the starter button on the tranny? That will also fill the rear all the way back to the pto. 5 gallons total correct? What type/weight of gear oil should I use. Thank You for the help...

    pto seal 8n

    I have a new seal for my 8n pto shaft the part # D9nn703BB The seal looks not as thick as the old one . The # on the old seal #T6500 look like this seal has more rubber coverage rubbing the shaft. Do I have the correct seal?

    how much gear oil does a ford 8n hold in the transmission and does the same oil feed the rear end.
