    Is the front axle straight or is it arched? If it is in fact a 1929 then it is either a "D" or "GP" Arched = GP Straight = D Do a google search to see pictures of each and match it with what you have.

    Cork will rebuild that small bore carb of yours so it runs and looks like new. Open your wallet it will probably cost $250-$300 if nothing is broke on it.

    Thanks for the help. The SM2008 is for the 60 tractor it looks like they never made service manuals specifically for the 620 & 630. Davenport Tractor reproduces it so I will get it there.

    I just rebuilt an XH magneto and when I installed the impulse I found that when I had 1 turn of spring tension it was too much. When I had it all assembled I would turn the drive cup and the cup would lock up before it tripped. I went back to 1/2 turn and all was well. I haven't had this happen...

    Agreed. Drain the oil you will be amazed at the sludge and gunk in there.

    Gp's don't have an oil pump coupler.

    I would pull the crank case cover off and loosen the connecting rod caps. This could free it up. To fill the GP engine you would need to pour the fluid in the exhaust or intake holes but make sure the valves are open for the fluid to enter the cylinder. If you want to remove the manifold you...
