    Stock gears for pulling 560

    I pull 460 which I think but not positive has fast 2nd gear.. I pull div 3 6mph in second with 16.9 38s and can make horn blow easily 20% over rpms

    First of all pulling needs to be affordable for big numbers...also most clubs are unwilling to change around here it?s either to old of tractor or to new.. either way it?s to expensive.. 57 and older is past it?s prime.. young guys wanna pull what they grew up on... example a 88 oliver or 460...

    Looking for 560 gas parts for a 301

    I used the manifold off the 301 I used the pipe that bolts to 301 manifold... got a chrome 5? pipe welded a circle in the bottom of it and drilled a hole same size as exhaust pipe off center and cut bigger hole in the hood... if you have hole saws and or plasma cutter, and a welder it was pretty...

    I think I have a oil pan if you can?t come up with one close to home... I?m in Illinois ... I just did this and got it done last winter for pulling this summer it?s not all that bad but I?m like you I?d rather stick with the 301 manifolds.... I hope you got the carb off of the combine?

    My 460 weights 4600 bare no weights has pressed steel wheels but no pto or hyd... has stock narrow front end and M&W hubs.... small front wheels.... also still has the ta and fenders... I was surprised when I got done because front bracket and wheelie bars are steel and I built them pretty...

    C301 governor

    My question is instead of using bailing wire on governor spring can I lighten weights to get 20% over stock rpms. And would this make the throttle more snappy... or is stiffening the spring going to do same thing... also if I was to lighten weights how much? Drill holes or grind some off and...
