    Electronic ignition

I put the Pertonix unit on my Ford 860 and never looked back. I buy Accel solid core sets and make my own plug wires.

ceramic magnet repair in 12v motor.

I used to reglue magnets all the time. Epoxy worked best. You can reindex the magnet by the glue marks or wear marks from the armature. If the magnet fractured it will lose some of it magnetism Leave any old glue in the case and that will help keep the magnet from sliding as the epoxy hardens.

Why do you have the tractor(s) that you have?

Ford 860 bought in Kentucky that I use to brush hog and plow snow and an 8n for puttering around cutting wood and tending fencerow.

I always use 8% ground sirloin and it holds together good so I doubt low fat content is it. Sounds kinda strange to me.

I had to order some electrical stuff from Del-City and bought some of theirs. They are Breeze brand, made in USA and solid stainless. I...

Does anyone make decent hose clamps any more? I'd actually like to get them half tight before they crumble or strip out.

    Tire irons

I used a couple of Ken tools #6G drop center irons to change a 6x16 tire. The notch grabs the bead or rim edge nicely. Working my way up to the rears. Darn chloride anyway.
