  1. grandpa Love

    Searching for friend update.

Search is over. Our friend found a 950 D and picked it up yesterday. We went by after church to take a look. Tractor has a 5 speed transmission but no live PTO. Hood says 941. He got the 4 speed transmission as part of the deal.Tie rod is Farmerized! Says he may leave it.

    porblems welding hubs on

The problem is the MIG weld is too brittle for most tractor axles. I weld every set with 7018. Just heat the axle and hub up some and weld. Never had one break.

    which brand is most collected?

Would it were so but it's not. John Deere way ahead of Oliver and a somewhat ahead of Farmall.

    Americas finest

Man-it's more that just a "people skills" issue with you.

What model/year Farmall do I need?

A, Super A, 100 and so on up that family. They'll work as well as Cub and can do a lot more than a Cub if needed.

    NEF Pardner 20 gauge Shotgun

You're right about the pump gun. My mistake. But the break actions I think, are now being made at the Remingotn plant in Ilion, NY. I think production was moved there from Mass.

    NEF Pardner 20 gauge Shotgun

What's made in some "third world hole?" H&R and NEF are both the same company and are owned by Marlin which is owned by Remington. Little bit of research would have clarified things for you. You might have been thinking of "Rossi."

    NEF Pardner 20 gauge Shotgun

I have a couple of the NEF single shot break actions. Many, many kids got their start with these guns. In fact, as I get older (AND LAZIER), I use my NEF Handi-Rifle in 45/70 for deer hunting. Easy to carry, Williams peep sight on it and all else I need are the cartridges and my knife. As...

    NEF Pardner 20 gauge Shotgun

Right- Good enough but it's still not quite the same "level" as a Rem. 870.

    NEF Pardner 20 gauge Shotgun

I don't think that's a "remake of the Remington 870" as you stated. Two different shot guns with the 870 definitely higher quality. But-my BIL has a NEF and it's OK.
