    We sometimes need to take a part out of a kit for a customer and then we order that part to put back in the kit to make it complete again.

    That tube looks to be in pretty poor shape. It should be smooth all the way to the end.

    You need to replace the nut assembly that holds the pressure tube in the pump. They do not hold up well for being reused.
