    They are recasting these, a lot of the new parts suppliers have them. I know Gary Baker has them. Search over at the pulling board.

    You don't have to remove the casting at all to replace the seal. Drill 2 hole opposite of each other in the outer housing of the seal and use 2 punches to pry the seal out. They also make a seal puller attachment for a slide hammer just for this application. Also get your new seals at a...

    4th gear in a Super M should be about 10.75, thats with 18.4s and 1920 rpm, there is a percentage increase for rolling circumference, and for rpm increase.
