    8n dont want too start

    ok here is what i know it is getting fuel to the bowl of the carb because i took the plug out of the bottem of the bowl and it runs gas out i put new autolite 437 plugs in it still the same still open for any more suggestions please

    Dell... thanks for the advise i will try your suggestions i realize choking it will flood it but it seems choking by hand and releasing it was the only way to start i appreciate your help i will let you know how it works out

    6 volt front distributor it is not that putting by hand over the carb makes it start is like when i starve it for air then release it it will fire have checked and it is getting fuel also it runs great after started if i shut off it will pop right off but if i leave it and come back later i will...

    i just bought a ford 8n it dont like too start i have cleaned the carb if it sets over nite the only way i can get it too start is to hold my hand over the carb then it will start seems to me like not enough air and too much fuel what do i do any sugestions will be appreciated
