Front Engine Seal on 641
How involved is the replacement of a front engine seal on a 641? I have the radiator and sheet metal off now to replace the water pump (broken off bolt)and would like to replace the seal now due to excessive leakage. Are any special tools required? Any help appreciated. -

641 Loose Fan Hub
I have the one on top. When I tried to remove the pump, I found that a 1/2" socket or box end wrench will not clear the side of the pump housing. A 1/2" open end will fit, but there is no room to turn the wrench. Any suggestions? Special wrench perhaps? -

The water pump does not move. Onlt the fan blade and hub. The fan blade and hub are ridgidly attached to each other. Does a new pump come with the fan hub, or is it a separate piece? MC -

641 Loose Fan Hub
Hello, The fan hub on my 641 is loose. I can grab a blade tip and move the blade and hub back and forth. There is no coolant leakage. Is this the water pump or something in the fan hub only? TIA for any help. -

Kohler engine Blown Plug
I have a 14 HP Kohler K series engine that blows the spark plug out of the hole. I removed the head, had a helicoil installed, and reassembled with a new head gasket. Same thing happened. Anyone have any idea what is causing the plug to blow out? TIA Mike- MikeC
