well he was wanting 1400 for it, but i talked him down to 1000. he had it running but it had a bad miss in it. He pulled the head and the valves were rusted bad on it. He got a good job and decided he would just buy him a new tractor and not mess with this one.- mikel collins

Guy down the road is selling his 1010 jd for his son. I am told that it got water down the exhaust pipe. Am told he freed it up, but it needs the head reworked. Has the head pulled off right now. Never owned a jd, and dont know what bucket of worms i might get into buying it. Is the 1010 gas jd...- mikel collins

Posting back on 620
Well after reseting timeing marks on crank and cam, and haveing LP Regulator rebuilt, she started right up and purrss like a kitten. You folks were right when u said i was off on timing marks, since this was first JD complete overhaul, even though it took forever...lol It came out great....Just...- mikel collins

Ok, u have brought daylight to my problem. I have been looking at one timing mark only, so that is my problem. Will start tearing back down to change the the timing tomorrow. I still dont know how i missed it, even had soninlaw look in there while i turned it before and he said he didnt see...- mikel collins

hang with me on this long story..Thxs. Got a 620Jd and it was froze up. Rebuilt the whole motor and got it all together. Have all the timing marks set by the book. V on V's on crank, and on camshaft ect. Even pulled back apart to check. But still no start. Check lp reg. gas comming out middle...- mikel collins
