Well after reseting timeing marks on crank and cam, and haveing LP Regulator rebuilt, she started right up and purrss like a kitten. You folks were right when u said i was off on timing marks, since this was first JD complete overhaul, even though it took forever...lol It came out great....Just want to say thinks to everyone who posted back with their answers....

Yep: my wife can get a little hostile, But you know they are proud of them old tractors, and even get upset if you sold it. I have been looking at 840 with the scrapper still attached and told her that I am going to try and buy this tractor. She told me I did not need anymore tractors. I think she will still be around if I buy it and proud of it.
