    NW Indiana probably be to costly on trucking. The 586 has had a rough life brakes went out then was ?stopped? with the reverser until it finally quit moving all together and was pushed off into the corner of the shed.

    No problem. My 530 might be for sale in the future, I?ve got a 586c bought from a neighbor that has a free lift mast and side shift but needs major work and might not be worth fixing.

    Thanks for the replies and links to the parts books. Yes it?s a dry clutch not case o Matic. I don?t do Facebook so I doubt that?s mine on there. I don?t know how I ever got along without the 530, it?s lifting capacity is impressive. Thanks again.

    Egging cab off l/p Vista

    Does an Egging cab have any value? I?ll be pulling one of my vista this winter and it?s in to good of shape to just junk it. Only 1 piece of glass is cracked and it?s not rusted anywhere. If anyone is interested in the whole cab or a few pieces off of it let me know.

    Sounds like you?ll be able to handle the project just need to look at loaders and get the measurements of there mounting points and see what would work best to attach to the old U. I haven?t seen a modern loader put on one so can?t help as to what brand would be a good fit.

    What our your fabrication abilities? Mounting a modern loader on a U will require a lot of work and in the end you will have a loader tractor that is clumsy to use with a hand clutch. Plus visibility of the bucket will be limited do to low seating position and won't be much better if you stand...

    I recently brought home a second ZBN and have noticed that on both tractors the serial number plates just have a Z instead of a ZB and that the numbers appear to be hand stamped and that both the Z and numbers are of a larger size then all the other ZBs I have.
