ZBN serial number tag

I recently brought home a second ZBN and have noticed that on both tractors the serial number plates just have a Z instead of a ZB and that the numbers appear to be hand stamped and that both the Z and numbers are of a larger size then all the other ZBs I have. Just wondering if anyone has a ZBN in there collection with a similar tag. There's no evidence that either tractor has had the tags changed or front ends swapped so I'm believing they are correct single front tractors. Any info would be great thanks.

The factory doesn't seem to have been too fussy in stamping the entire model number. Some have it, some don't. Serial number will pin it down specifically (not the engine number).
