    did you look near the starter for a core plug? installed one in that location recently--[katz brand] don't know how early the 3000 was--also some had intake manifold flame heater if you can make it work right & have proper battery. paul

    Thanks Kentb-- set max rpm @ 1800 rpm on 4 cyl. scale of tach-dwell unit.worked well--tried earlier, but think i had loose contact @ coil pickup & readings had me spooked---paul

    hello all--i need to adjust the max rpm on this onan cckb twin cyl. I have a rpm meter for 4,6,& 8 cyl. can I make this work? thinking about it, it seems like 4 cyl. scale cut in half would normally work, but the onan fires on exh. stroke too, so its got me confused-anyone ever tried this? thanks

    ford powerstroke taking oil

    I have re-sealed injectors on several powerstrokes with no problems--recently did a '95 & still much engine oil going to fuel--am sending all injectors to diesel pump shop--they tell me internal seals can cause it.

    make sure top of liner has not slightly burnt away, or liner has slipped down ever so slightly. the fire ring has to get a good bite into the sleeve to seal--paul

    I have one somewhere also--reads the bubbles--mine made bell sounds-forgot, but think it will only work on metal lines? had mine for automotive/tractor use & don't think it worked on rubber hoses-will drag that thing out & see if its still any good.
