    The corn stalks were disked, there was some bean ground we plowed in that wasn"t touched and still hung in there in third gear. i was plowing a good 7-8 inches deep. 302 is really an impressive little tractor!

    Here is my 1970 302 Super Lp plowing at plow day. I pulled a moline 3-16"s fully mounted and plowed in third gear! didn"t hardly know it was back there!

    yep, I"ll have some 400"s in thier work clothes there. If every tractor was painted up, it would be like looking at the same thing over and over...LOL!!!

    400,450 differences

    Hello, I have a 54 400 with withe early 6 spoke wheels and I have 5 other 400"s that are 55 and 56 and all have 8 spoke with double bevel rims. So those must have came out some time in 55 because I have two 55"s withe 8 spoke.

    I have a 400 high drum cotton, does anyone know where I can get gaskets for the drop axles. I tried IH dealer and only have three I need and the rest are not available.

    plow identification

    Should be a DF, AF series plow. One in a while you can find old brochures on ebay. Nice spring loaded hitch you have for it.

    farmall h sand blasting or wire wheel, sanding

    I just watched the show Wrecks to Riches the other day and they used baking soda to sand blast. It is water saluable and environmental friendly.
