    MM Power and Brush Pulls

What is to stand? It is a straight shaft and coupling. I have had a Massy 97 on it that did just as good 1100 cid and just played with it at 460 hp. The old timers use to put the alchol turbo tractors on them and they never broke the shafts. they turned a few dynos on there sides but what do you...

    MM Power and Brush Pulls

If you read the posts here you will see they run a naturally aspirated class. The MM they are talking about is about 600 hp. Even a fairly large case or IH with a close to stock size turbo is going to be hard pressed to make that much HP. I know the MM has pulled against turbo tractors and beat...

    MM Power and Brush Pulls

A john deer was winning all the time before the MM came along. He is upset because he went out and spent 20,000 on a new engine and still cant compete with that old GVI. They have made the old boy with the GVI change fuel tanks and lp regulators to try to catch up. But that is allright when you...

    G1000 FWA found

You dont have to claim it to be original to get people to believe it is. That was my point. MM made alot of weird or unsual stuff and alot of people have made there own thing out of the MMs because of there interchangeability of parts. When these guys that do all of this "research" in the...

    G1000 FWA found

What is the matter with my post? I adviced him to buy it and told him where to get parts for it. All these other guys did was ask to get it if he wasnt interested. The post a few later insinuated taking it and making it into a vista for 57,000 dollars I dont think that was what the guy meant but...

More power for my Gvi diesel

No bolt in bigger motor? A big bell 504 will bolt in. A 585 will bolt in if you use the small bell adapter from a 4 cyl G. You will have to put a clutch ring on the flywheel unless you have an early 585 with the two piece seal then a G flywheel will bolt on and hook right up.

    G1000 FWA found

These guys know that it is a clark axle with the same internal parts as the oliver industrial tractors and some of the hough rear stear loaders. They just dont want to tell you so they can get it. You should definitly get it if nothing else put it on ebay and watch them fight over it.

    Vista question

Well when you see guys making serial # tags (poorly made) and lp Vista fwds then you can pretty much draw your own conclusions. Harrold Jennings made a Vista FWD on propane when it was new with the HD 800 small bell engine. The G900 FWD out in UMA had been restamped so many times you couldnt...

    Vista question

They are not common but there have been 4 of them brought into the state of Indiana by one collector and resold one of them was Shrockeys tractor it came from Wisc. One of them went to north west IN I believe around Michigan city. One was bought by Wayn Graber down in Southern IN then was resold...

Just bore it oversize that is what the factory intended you to do. You can get used pistons for about 50.00 apiece. Would be much better than a risky sleeve job

utu @ 5000 LBS? can it be done?

start with an early u they are lighter. weld on hubs light tires and a lot of elbow grease. Bob Trowbridges UB pulled in 4500 regularly with 16.9 x38 wheels and virtually no aluminum on the tractor and carried 150 # on the front with a 250 # driver. It once pulled 4000 with 13.6 x 38 tires and a...
