    friends of the N what is fair asking price for following: '46 2N 12volt system with good tires, new starter, plugs, wiring, coil AND 4 ft House bush hog - tractor runs good although old, like me :-) thinking around $2K

    hello friends of the N i removed headlight wire from behind dash now trying to remember where to put it back thinking it came off switch post....does that sound right? my N is a 2N with 12volt system. "46 Ford Ferguson with hi/lo trans. been a good "un :-)

    found it, finally :-) first wire into ballast resistor from switch. jumped over it and she fired guess i'll replace wire with new ring terminals and be go to go! yard art now moved and under cover :-) thanks all ! btw...is Bruce from Va still here. thought he might weigh in

    thanks Erik for the reminder. ol' Dell is right with shinny and bright. am working on sanding and tightening up all connections :-)

    H Cooke - i owe you a cold frosty one :-) and JMOR - looks like it WAS the connection before the resistor. the connection felt tight and secure but once i disconnected and cleaned and tighten back she fired....what causes connections to stop current ? rust ? thanks all

    thanks Sparkie (aka Dell) will double check switch very possible i missed something while testing was sorta hurrying as a thunderstorm was a coming :-)

    thanks JMOR.... i'll double check but i thought i had juice on everything up to the resistor. maybe i will start at coil and go back and see where that leads...maybe bad connection on wire going in. will continue when rain stops. thanks

    thanks HC shouldn"t I have juice to the resistor ? that"s where the power stops will try to by-pass and see hey - cold frosty one sounds pretty good. hot one here in NC :-)
